Wood-Fired Maple Syrup?

We travel the mountain range every spring to collect sap from sugar maple trees. The maple sap travels to the maple sugar house. The sap is boiled over a traditional wood-fired evaporator removing water to produce delicious maple syrup!

The Purinton family has been producing Vermont maple syrup since 1803. For generations, the Purinton family produced maple syrup on their dairy farm in Bristol, Vermont. Peter Purinton fell in love with being outside and had a genuine passion for making Vermont maple syrup as he learned how to produce maple syrup from his father Robert.
